As a full-time online entrepreneur who has been working from home for the last few years, I can vouch for the fact that this is seriously sooooo good earning money this way.

IDEA # 1 – Become a virtual assistant.
If you can copy and paste data and are savvy on a computer, then chances are you have the potential to become a virtual assistant.
While some tasks involved may be more complicated, most VA tasks don’t require much skill or experience, yet you can earn a healthy amount if you find the right client.
- There are dedicated sites online, such as Upwork, where you can bid for virtual assistant jobs. You can also find work on social media if you keep your eyes open.

IDEA # 2 – Sell on eBay, Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace.
Trust me selling on these platforms will get you more money than selling via a garage sale.
I think we all have things around our homes that we no longer want or need. It’s time to work out what they are and put them up for sale.
Rather than leaving them to gather dust, you could list them for a reasonable price online.
- You can even buy from other sellers cheaply before relisting the same items for a small profit yourself.
- I used to do this with my kid’s toys when they were younger. I would grab a bargain, let my kids play with these toys for however many months or years they wanted to and then sell them for a reasonable price once they were done (always at a profit).
- Then use this money to buy their next lot of toys. They had the BEST collection of toys when they were younger which I technically didn’t pay a cent for.

IDEA # 3 – Trade cryptocurrency or stocks.
Both these options require you to do some research but there are definitely plenty of people online making money by trading digital currency or stocks.
As with anything else you want to sell, the way to profit is to sell at a higher price than you bought it.

IDEA # 4 – Sell services on Fiverr.
If you have any useful skill, such as writing, design, or many others, you can offer your services on Fiverr or one of the many marketplaces online.
- Work may be slow when you first start selling on these sites, but once you start making sales, getting positive reviews and your reputation grows, you can start to make more money via this platform.

IDEA # 5 – Start a blog.
Ooohhhh so this is personally my FAVORITE way to earn money.
Do you yourself have a particular passion or subject that you know a lot about?
If you do, consider starting a niche blog.
Whether your passion is dogs or gardening or Christian parenting, if you can write about the subject and get lots of traffic, you can eventually monetize your website.

IDEA # 6 – Social media management.
Nowadays, most people and businesses have a social media presence but not everyone loves posting to social media.
This is where you can come in and offer your social media management services.
That is, if a company wishes to reach their target audience, you can potentially help them with this task as it’s important to post content consistently to your social media accounts.
- If you have any experience at growing a social media following, people will pay for this expertise! You can charge these companies to grow their channels for them.

IDEA # 7 – Affiliate marketing.
Affiliate marketing involves creating content that you then use to promote various product offers and services on your blog, via your email list or social media accounts.
The way you make money is that you receive a commission from any product bought from your affiliate link.
- I can’t even begin to mention all the possible products you can promote with view to earning an affiliate sale. On Amazon alone, there are thousands of products to choose from.
- You can also find products to promote from marketplaces like Clickbank or JVZoo. You will find many websites also offer affiliate programs for their products.

IDEA # 8 – Create online courses.
This can also be a great way to make money at home by teaching others how to do any skill that you know. I myself have created over 30 products and courses.
It honestly isn’t that difficult to do.
You can create a digital product to sell, like an eBook or a more in-depth course with video lessons.
- Another alternative is to create a YouTube channel where you teach your skills to others. With YouTube, you may not make much money to start, but if you stick with it, creating new videos on a regular basis, then you could grow a following and create a passive income stream that could last for years.
- Once you create your course, you can upload it to a course marketplace like Udemy, Teachable, Kajabi, or many more. I personally use Teachable and make money by selling access to my courses.
In the end, if you know how to do anything online or know more about a topic than the average person, you can definitely monetize that skill or knowledge online.
