Want to know how to make money today? If this is your goal, here are a few options to make some money sooner rather than later.
Let’s chat about how to make money today.
Many of us believe that it is really hard to make lots of money, outside of whatever job we already have.
But what if that wasn’t true?
What if it was possible to make more money today with the skills you already have?
Making more money today CAN sometimes be challenging, as it often depends on your skills, resources, and opportunities available at the moment.
But let’s just entertain the idea for a moment that it can be possible.
Here are some general ideas that you may consider:

Freelancing or Gig Work:
If you have extra skills to offer, I want you to list them all down. What are you good at? What can you do for someone on a short-term basis as a freelancer?
Offer your skills on freelancing platforms for tasks like writing, graphic design, programming, or virtual assistance. You can offer these skills on platforms like Upwork and Fivver.
Sell Unneeded Items:
Do you have anything laying around your home that you no longer want or need? Consider decluttering your home and selling items you no longer need on online platforms or through a garage sale.
Participate in Paid Surveys:
Is it possible to earn money via paid surveys? Absolutely! Google and join online survey websites that pay for your opinions on various topics.
Offer Services Locally:
Start by checking out Facebook groups for your local area. Are you allowed to post your business services there? If so, consider providing services in your local community, such as baby sitting, pet sitting, lawn care, or handyman work.

Do Odd Jobs:
In addition to posting your availability to do work, you can also look for short-term, paid gigs or odd jobs in your local area through platforms like TaskRabbit or Craigslist.
Rent Out Your Assets:
If you have a spare room, consider renting it out on platforms like Airbnb. Seriously you can make lots of money this way! You can also rent out your car or equipment.
Overtime or Extra Shifts:
If you have a regular job, inquire about the possibility of working overtime or taking on additional shifts. This can often be the simplest way to earn more money. Simply ask if this is an option for you.
Offer Your Expertise:
If you could be considered to be an expert in a particular field or area, consider offering consulting services in your area of expertise. This could be done on a one-on-one basis or through online platforms.
Sell Handmade or Crafted Items:
If you have a skill in crafting or creating handmade items, consider selling them online on platforms like Etsy. Search through the Etsy platform to find new and novel ways to make money on the side.

If you have expertise in a particular subject or skill, you can always offer tutoring or coaching services either in-person or online. The hourly rate for 1:1 tutoring and coaching is quite high!

Are you great at taking photos or videos? Consider making some money from this skills. People love to pay for professional-looking photos and videos so consider offering your services for events, portraits, or stock photography.
Delivery or Rideshare Services:
If you have a vehicle, you can also consider working for delivery or rideshare services in your area. A few examples include Uber, Dide and Shebah
Participate in Local Events:
It’s always a fun way to make money via a stall at the weekend markets. Check to see if there are any local events or festivals where you can set up a booth to sell products or offer services.
Online Affiliate Marketing:
This is such a simple way to earn money passively. Find and then promote products through affiliate marketing on your blog or social media and earn a commission on every sale.
Emergency Fundraising:
In urgent situations, if you are truly desperate for extra money ASAP consider asking for financial assistance from friends or family, or explore crowdfunding platforms like Go Fundme.
Now I know that not all the suggestions on this list will resonate with you or feel doable but that’s okay. The goal is simply to get your mind to start looking for answers to this question: HOW CAN I MAKE MONEY TODAY?
The effectiveness of each method obviously depends on your circumstances and how willing you are to embrace each option.
But keep your mind open to new ideas. Be open to allowing money to flow into your life is new ways that you might not have otherwise considered before.
