Inspiring Moms – It’s Okay To Be Perfectly Imperfect

Inspiring Mom Life – Bringing Perfectly Imperfect Moms Together

Inspiring Mom Life

Let’s chat about inspiring moms.

So I have some news to share with you all…

Four years after starting this website InspiringLifeDreams, which has had close to 6 million pageviews during that time, I have finally changed the name of this little baby to InspiringMomLife.com to better reflect exactly what this parenting website is all about.

It’s all about inspiring moms to live a better, more intentional and purposeful life.

But what exactly do I mean by that?

Obviously the term Inspiring can be interpreted in so many different ways.

I thought I would write this post to share with you what exactly an Inspiring Mom Life looks like to me.

inspiring moms

To me, inspiring moms are real.

They are everyday humans with a normal human brain.

Inspiring moms allow themselves to be vulnerable.

They feel the full array of human emotions.

Inspiring moms mess up all the time.

They are perfectly imperfect.

They want to enjoy their life and kids more.

They want to do less so they can have more in their life.

They want:

Less stuff and more appreciation for what they have.

Less stress and more inner peace.

Less worry and more faith in their abilities and that of their family members.

Less superficial friendships and more real connections.

To me, being an inspiring mom means waking up each day and doing the best I can, even if my best often falls short of my own expectations.

It’s about learning to READJUST these expectations.

It’s about having a not-so-great day and still believing that tomorrow things will be better.

In fact, it’s knowing there will be good days and bad days and it’s okay.

It’s about having hope.

It’s about never giving up.

It’s about following your dreams and walking your own path.

It’s about knowing our kids don’t have to behave perfectly because there’s no such thing as perfection.

It’s about lifting up ourselves and others when we or they are feeling down.

It’s about not wishing or wasting away your days and instead making the most of what we have right now.

It’s about ditching the “hot-mess” mom identity and reaching for and embracing instead whatever it is that we really desire deep inside.

inspiring moms

It’s also about knowing you are not alone.

The word inspiring will look different to each of us and that’s exactly the way it’s supposed to be.

It’s defined as the ability to move or influence someone to act, create or feel emotions.

If I can inspire you at all, via my blog posts, podcast and courses, to feel a different way I hope those feelings are:

– Supported

– Loved

– Appreciated

– A trust in your ability

– A faith in your purpose

– An inner peace and inner knowing that you can 100% authentically be whoever you are and whoever you want to be in the future and that’s exactly who this world needs right now

The root of this little word can be traced back to the Latin term inspirare (“to breathe”).

Take a deep breath now.

I seriously think this is a simple tool that all moms can embrace when our days aren’t going according to plan.

News alert: our days will have ups and downs and that’s okay.

Our roads will often be filled with potholes or obstacles and that’s okay.

You have the ability to cope with anything that comes your way.

That strength and resilience while maintaining an optimistic attitude to me is inspiring.

Just know that you don’t need to do parenthood alone.

I am here for you.

This is your safe space.

Much love,

Frances Vidakovic
