Highest Potential – 6 Ways To Achieve Your Massive Goals In Life
Want to finally reach your highest potential? Here are 9 secret tips to achieving your maximum highest potential.
Let’s chat about reaching your highest potential.
How would you like to achieve some big goals in life? I’m all about setting nice big goals that excite you in life.
But here’s the thing: Achieving big goals is a science.
When we speak about big goals it isn’t simply aiming to lose 10 pounds or cleaning out the pantry or garage by the end of the month. It’s about those goals that slightly scare you.
That you are worried it might be impossible, like losing 50 pounds or doubling your income.
The average person is pretty effective at accomplishing smaller goals, but they often struggle with the big goals.
Now for a truth bomb: Big goals actually aren’t any more difficult to achieve.
They simply require more time to get there.
You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight.”– Jim Rohn
To reach a port, we must sail — Sail, not tie at anchor — Sail, not drift.”– Franklin Roosevelt
You should set goals beyond your reach so you always have something to live for. – Ted Turner
Here’s how to accomplish big goals using a different strategy:
REACHING YOUR HIGHEST POTENTIAL
1 – It’s important to measure your progress.
Big goals take time, and it’s super easy to become discouraged.
A lot of patience is required because it’s common for most of your results to occur near the END of the process.
Yes, that’s right!
Near the end of it.
Perseverance is therefore critical and you will want to measure your progress along the way to keep your motivation going.
- Since big goals can take a lot of time, it’s important to know that you’re on the right track.
- Maintaining an awareness of your progress or lack of progress will also allow you to change your approach as needed.

TIP # 2 – Big goals must be a priority.
How many times have you set a goal, only to forget all about it in a week?
Well that’s not going to work for big goals.
You need to remind yourself of your goal each day.
At the very least, read your goal once per day.
Consider reading, writing, and visualizing your goals twice per day to fuel the fire of your determination and keep your motivation burning.

TIP # 3 – Mental garbage is the biggest obstacle.
The thought of making a million dollars might sound great, but there’s also a part of you that feels like you accidentally swallowed a frog whole – you just can’t get it down!
A part of you clenches when you imagine accomplishing much more than you’re accustomed to accomplishing.
Big dreams and big goals require big thinking and big actions.
This discomfort you feel is a natural feeling but it also could be sign from your subconscious that it’s not entirely onboard.
- There are many techniques to deal with this discomfort. You can visualize or meditate. You can focus on a positive outcome. You can reframe the situation. Do whatever helps you to feel better.
- If you can’t visualize the achievement of your goal and feel 100% positive, it will be challenging to achieve. You need to genuinely believe that it is in the realm of possibility for you.
REACHING YOUR HIGHEST POTENTIAL
TIP # 4 – Focus on your habits.
Your ideal body is the result of your eating and exercise habits.
Therefore losing 50 pounds is the result of implementing appropriate habits and being patient enough to enjoy the results.
What habits do you need to implement to make achieving your goals not only possible but INEVITABLE?
- Avoid the belief that huge success is the result of a single, spectacular action.
- Small changes in your behavior and focus can actually provide the same, impressive results over time.

REACHING YOUR HIGHEST POTENTIAL
TIP # 5 – Be patient.
Rome wasn’t built in a day, so it’s not fair to expect something amazing to happen in a week.
Set a reasonable timetable, take consistent baby steps and know that you will get there in the end.
Big goals are marathons, not sprints.
Take the time to read biographies of those that accomplished impressive things.
I especially love the book SHOE DOG by Phil Knight as it demonstrates the sheer time, hard work and patience that was invested by the creator of Nike in order to get his business where it is today.
- Practice patience by learning to be patient in everyday situations. We all have plenty of opportunities.
- Waiting in line, sitting in traffic, or waiting at the doctor’s office are just a few examples. Just relax and breathe. There is a time and place for everything.
REACHING YOUR HIGHEST POTENTIAL
TIP # 6 – Only choose goals that are highly meaningful.
Honestly?
A goal is so much easier to achieve if you passionately WANT to achieve it.
You want to work hard for it.
You want to invest time and effort in making that goal happen.
Some people bite off more than their motivation can chew and in their heart of hearts, they just don’t really FEEL like doing it.

But a big goal requires commitment, sacrifice, and time.
You need to avoid goals that aren’t worth the cost of that investment.
If you don’t, you’ll only be wasting your time and stressing over a goal that you don’t even care for.
In the end, big goals are exciting and life changing, but big goals are often avoided by people – even big dreamers – because they are worried about the likelihood of failure.
You simply need to understand that there is a process to making significant changes in your life.
Take the time to be really clear on your objective and create habits that will bring you closer to that objective each day.
Measure your results often to stay motivated and ensure that you’re making progress.
That is how we do it.
That is how we reach our big goals, by taking consistent baby steps forward until eventually we make these dream happen!
