DEEP QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF

7 Deep Questions To Ask Yourself Every Single Day

Looking for deep questions to ask yourself? Here are 7 life-changing questions you need to ask yourself every single day.

Let’s chat about deep questions to ask yourself

For me, questions are the best way for us to solve problems and move forward in our life.

The cool thing is each day provides us with an opportunity to make our life a little better or a little worse.

The only issue is that most of us are too focused on surviving another day, or too distracted, to be focused on the things that matter the most to us.

But have no fear – things are about to change for you.

Simply by asking yourself these important questions you can focus your attention and set your priorities for the day ahead.

Now here’s the twist: When you ask yourself something, your brain can’t help but try to answer it.

It WANTS to find the answer for you so make sure to give your brain something worthwhile to answer.

I recommend that you get into the habit of asking yourself meaningful questions on a regular basis because these questions really do have the potential to change your focus and your life.

DEEP QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF

Consider asking yourself these questions:

DEEP QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF

1 – What is the most important thing I need to accomplish?

To get the most out of each day, it’s necessary to get some things accomplished.

So, what are the most important things you need to accomplish today?

What do you need to do?

What do you want to do?

Remember how you spend your time determines the quality of your life.

  • FYI: Asking yourself this question each morning will give you the chance to design the day around your most important goals.

2 – What am I tolerating?

When you ask yourself this question, what answer comes to mind?

What are you putting up with that you would much prefer to ditch to the kerbside?

Seriously, humans have a tendency to tolerate too much crap.

We’re taught to be tough, indifferent, and tolerant – even if it is making us feel awful.

But if you do this on a daily basis, all of the things that get on your nerves will eventually take their toll on your physical and mental health.

Remember you are the only person that’s going to consistently have your best interests at heart.

YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF YOU.

So, be honest, what are you tolerating?

  • A stove with a broken burner?

  • A dead bush in front of your house?

  • A terrible boss?

  • An extra 30 pounds?

  • A bitchy friend?

  • Clutter around your house?

  • A bad habit like smoking?

  • A parent that oversteps their boundaries?

  • Make a list of these things can and see what you can do to fix or lessen their impact on your life?

3 – What problems or challenges do I foresee happening in the future?

No this is not a trick question nor do I expect you to be a fortune tellers.

But the truth is most of the challenges we face in our life aren’t actually surprises.

We can reasonably predict they have a good chance of happening. But truth be told, we’d just rather not address them or even think about them.

  • Here’s the thing though, it’s easier to prevent a disaster than to deal with it. So, look into the future and be proactive about any potential problems you can already see percolating.

4 – What mistakes did I make today?

Of course, I have to add a disclaimer to this question and point out to you that there are no true mistakes – just learning opportunities.

But these mistakes can be considered to be mistakes, if you keep on repeating them over and over and over again.

Let’s say you instead worked to nip these reoccurring mistakes in the bud – can you see how much more fulfilling your life would be?

Think of how much better your relationships would be.

Think of how much better you would be at your job, with your health goals, with your finances, with your > insert any area where you keep making the same “mistakes aka missed opportunities < over and over again.

  • It’s time to break the cycle and finally identify your mistakes so you can make a decision not to make them again.

5 – What am I grateful for?

I love this question because it actively forces you to look for all the good in your life.

Gratitude is definitely an attitude that shifts your mindset and reminds you that your life is already pretty good – BUT ONLY IF YOU ACTIVELY ACKNOWLEDGE ALL THE GOOD THINGS IN IT.

Gratitude also gives you the courage to take smart risks because you know you are lucky and blessed and will have a soft cushion to fall on if things ever don’t go your way (this cushion is your feeling of self-love and faith and trust in yourself).

All in all, gratitude is a powerful state to address the world from.

6 – What am I looking forward to?

I think it is super important that we always have something – big or little – to look forward to.

If you have something to look forward to, you’ll know it in your bones because you will feel a rush of excitement and enthusiasm run through your body.

If you don’t have something to look forward to, all is okay because you can make changes immediately to rectify this issue.

You’ll realize that you need to make plans to do, see, or receive something exciting in the future, which is easy enough to do when it’s your priority.

7 – What do I want to change about myself?

I don’t mean change yourself as if I’M NOT WORTHY OR GOOD EXACTLY AS I AM.

You are always worthy but that doesn’t mean you won’t grow and evolve on your journey through life.

We don’t come perfect right out of the box.

We NEED to grow and change in new ways depending on what we want to accomplish. This is a good thing!

  • Our greatest ability is the ability to grow and adapt. So, ask yourself now: in what ways do you need to adapt so that you evolve into the person you want to become and the world becomes what you want it to be?

DEEP QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF

Now I know that there are only seven questions here but these 7 questions have the potential to change your life.

How long would it take to ask yourself these questions each day?

Maximum five minutes, right?

I KNOW that you have five minutes up your sleeve, available to you at the start of each day to change your life for the better…

Imagine what would happen if you asked yourself these questions each day?

These questions are simple but please do not underestimate their power.

They will make a difference in your life if you use them regularly.

So, take control of your life and focus each day by asking yourself these powerful questions each day.

What are some other questions that you believe would be valuable?

Add them to your list and keep exploring your potential to grow into the amazing human you were born and destined to be in this world.

Much love and best of luck xx
