DON'T WAIT FOR THE PERFECT MOMENT

Don’t Wait For The Perfect Moment – 7 Reasons Why

Here’s why you don’t wait for the perfect moment in life – 7 reasons why you need to take action now rather than hesitate.

Let’s chat about why you don’t wait for the perfect moment in life.

If you find yourself constantly hesitating in life I want you a very important question:

Are you waiting for the perfect time to launch your grand plans?

Here’s the thing – many of us don’t like to wait in line, but we’re more than happy to wait and delay so many other more important things in our life.

We plan to start our diets and goals on a Monday, or on the first of the month, or the first of the year (you know the drill).

It’s rare that someone decides to chase their dreams right now, in the middle of a week or on some random day in the month.

The same mindset applies to starting a business, going back to school, learning how to play the guitar, writing a book, or having a difficult conversation.

We believe that challenging objectives require some unrealistic optimal set of conditions, which hey, hey, usually always equals sometime LATER.

But all that’s really required to get started right now is COURAGE.

Waiting is often just an excuse when we feel fearful or uncertain.

And that fear morphs into procrastination which keeps us stuck in the same place, so that we never move forward.

The idea that perfect conditions are necessary is seriously flawed, my friend.

Here’s why:

DON’T WAIT FOR THE PERFECT MOMENT

MISTAKE # 1 – Life is much too short.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

Life is short, time is precious and eventually, we all run out of time. How true is that?

No one, my friend, has the luxury of knowing they will live forever.

Time doesn’t stop for anyone, remember?

There is no pause or rewind button that we can just press to change or redo things in life.

Of course that doesn’t mean we have to be impulsive and throw all caution to the wind.

It does mean, however, that you need to act sooner rather than later.

MISTAKE # 2 – Life will always get in the way.

Waiting for the right moment is like saving the money you have left over at the end of the month.

It’s crazy.

You need to put aside what you need first – before you divvy it out to everyone and everything else.

If you take the alternative approach you’ll never have enough time to spare, just as you’ll never have any money left over if you don’t manage it wisely.

  • So make time for the important things you want to do or accomplish. The longer you wait, the harder it can be to get started.

MISTAKE # 3 – Waiting is passive.

You know it’s true.

Think about the difference between action and inaction.

One is actually getting up to do to something while the other option keeps you…stuck in Limboland.

You need to know and understand that each day is filled with unique moments.

It’s not necessary for you to wait until the perfect storm of opportunity, convenience, and motivation finally occurs.

News alert -if you are waiting for that special hit of motivation it may never come.

You need to create those special moments whenever you can.

You need to do the important things even when you don’t feel like doing anything at all.

Plenty of great opportunities happen every single day, but you need to EMBRACE them.

Otherwise they will just pass you by.

MISTAKE # 4 – You don’t learn anything while you’re waiting.

When you’re inactive, you’re not enhancing your skills or gaining any new experience.

That’s why you need to make the most of each moment by taking action so that you can be better prepared for the future.

MISTAKE # 5 – Avoid regret.

Do you really have the time to waste on regret? Do you want to look back on your life and think, “If only I would have …”

  • I promise you – living in regret will become your biggest regret.
  • Do not brood over your past mistakes and failures as this will only fill your mind with grief, regret and depression.
  • Do not repeat them in the future. Do not waste one moment in regret, for to think feelingly of the mistakes of the past is to re-infect yourself.
  • At the end of the day let there be no regrets, only a desire to do more tomorrow than you did today.
  • Another point – we can’t always change what has happened to us, but we can change how we react and how we live in the future.
  • Living with no regrets is living successfully. Never look back in regret – move on to the next thing.
  • Never regret anything from your past because one day, you’ll look back and thank it for hurting you so much that you decided to become a stronger human being.

DON’T WAIT FOR THE PERFECT MOMENT

MISTAKE # 6 – Taking action results in a more exciting and fulfilled life.

Taking action and failing will ALWAYS, ALWAYS better than doing nothing at all.

Remember – even in failure, you’re learning, taking risks, and living life to the fullest.

There is nothing to be feared about failure at all!

Failure will help you become better prepared for the future and gain a new perspective if you treat it as a gift instead of something to be embarrassed about.

  • I cannot state the importance of taking action. It’s the difference between being alive and truly living. It’s the difference between a dream and actually making it a reality.
  • What we think or what we know or what we believe is in the end of little consequence. The only consequence is what we do. John Ruskin

MISTAKE # 7 – Waiting results in a lack of control.

You also need to understand that when you passively wait for the perfect situation to occur, you’re giving away control of your life.

You’re leaving things up to fate instead of taking the power back into your own hands.

You may think that waiting seems like a smart idea but what are you waiting for?

Are you really just procrastinating?

In the end waiting for the right moment to strike is often a mistake.

You need to know YOU MAKE THOSE RIGHT MOMENTS happen yourself.

When you value yourself, your value your time and when you value your time, you’ll begin to make the most of it.

You need to know that every moment is important because you are important, my friend!

Your dreams are important and your goals are important too. It’s time to stop waiting for some perfect moment to arrive BECAUSE the perfect moment is now.

It’s time to stop waiting for your dreams to miraculously fall into your lap because hey, it’s all up to you.

It has always been all up to you!

So get started today and being making your own right moments happen.
