Dreams That Just Die

 

Hey my friend, 

When I was a little girl I dreamed of writing books. 

I seriously thought that would be the best job in the world!

However when I finished school, I didn’t pursue it as a career because I was told so often that “writers never make money.”

So instead I graduated with a degree in psychology (30 years ago to be exact) and to be honest, I LOVED this line of work too.

 

Yet of course that writing dream of mine never died – all I had done was squish it down and pretend it didn’t exist.  

 

I dreamed that secret dream for so long, until age 40 (almost a decade ago now) when I decided enough is enough. 

I mean OF COURSE I COULD NEVER SUCCEED if I simply believed what others told me they thought was “true.”

The only way I would actually discover the truth of that statement “writers never make money” is if I ACTUALLY TRIED AND GAVE WRITING A GO.

 

And oh my gosh, I’m so glad I had the guts to try.

 

Because from that brave first step, what followed was:

 👉🏻 20+ books since published

👉🏻 80+ courses created

👉🏻 1000+ articles written

👉🏻 550 podcast episodes recorded

👉🏻 10+ million visitors to my website

👉🏻 10,000+ students in my courses

👉🏻 And most importantly, being able to work from the comfort of my home for the last 8 years.

 

All because I was at least willing to try.
