So our family has just returned from a 7 week holiday on a Croatian island where amazingly the majority of our outings were free.
Yes we still indulged in the food and dining department (too good to pass up!) but for the most part we could set off for the day with not much more than packed snacks, drinks and towels in tow and not have to worry about the day costing the earth.
Fast forward back to reality in Sydney where EVERYTHING seems to have a price tag attached to it. Sure, it’s sometimes justified but other times it’s a completely unnecessary expense.
This post is for moms looking for FUN THINGS TO DO WITH THE KIDS that are either free or super cheap. An empty or threadbare wallet shouldn’t have to put you off doing something exciting with your family. Absolutely not!
Time with family is too precious to waste and it is super important that you make sure you connect with your children on a regular basis.
And by connect with I don’t mean yelling at them to pick their clothes up off the floor or hurry up for school.
Instead I mean the sort of quality time that makes all the hard work seem worthwhile, that reminds you that life is innately beautiful and that there is joy everywhere to be found the moment you STOP and allow yourself to let go of all that other day-to-day stuff for a second.
