How To Be Kind – 50 Ways To Be Kind To Your Child

Want to know how to be kind? Here are 50 specific ways you can be kinder to your kids, family and friends.

Let’s chat about how to be kind.

A wise man once told me the best advice he had for married couples was to be kind to each together.

I loved that advice so much I had it engraved on the inside of my wedding band so that I would never forget it.

Since then I have discovered many more fabulous quotes about kindness.

No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted. Aesop

A little thought and a little kindness are often worth more than a lot of money. John Ruskin

You can accomplish by kindness what you cannot by force. Publilius Syrus

HOW TO BE KIND

It makes sense that if you can be kind to complete strangers you meet in the street, then you can show the same level of respect and kindness to your own child.

Kindness is what makes children grow in confidence and feel secure and loved.

By being kind to your child, you also provide a great example of what kindness is all about and consequently teach your children how to show kindness to others.

And you want your child to grow up to be kind, right?

I’ve written about this before: life is hard enough for your kids without you making it even harder for them.

No you are not a wuss or pushover if you are kind to your kids.

You are supposed to be kind to the people you love!

Being kind shows people that you actually care for them.

Remember actions speak louder than words.

Always keep in mind what C.A. Bartol once said:

Gentleness and kindness will make our homes a paradise upon earth.
