Get To Know You Questions – 2 Questions To Ask Today

Want to know the best Get To Know You Questions? Here are 2 questions that will give you the perspective and clarity you need.

Let’s chat about Get To Know You Questions…

Do you want to hear two questions that will totally change your life?

We often assume that the answers to everything can be found in personal development and self-help books but guess what?

Often the answer to your problems doesn’t lie in the hands of other people.

Instead you will be surprised at how much you will benefit from asking yourself or others just two questions.

Luckily I have for you two amazing questions that will totally shift your mindset right away.

Your answers will help you determine if you’re on track to reaching your goals and enable you to make an action plan that will get you there in record time.

So, let’s go!

Here are the two questions I recommend that you ask yourself right now:

1 – “If an invisible person followed you around all day, what would they see?”

Good question, right? So, what WOULD other people see?

Would they see you wasting a lot of time?

Would they see you working at your goals?

Would they see someone that is just going through the motions?

Would they see you taking action?

Would they see you showing up as your best self in life?

  • Here’s the thing: our lives are largely the result of the actions that we take each day.

  • This is why it is important to ask yourself: Are you taking actions that move you forward to the future you desire or are you engaged in time-wasting, worthless activity?

  • What would that invisible person logically conclude about you, your life, and your future? Take the time to think about this valuable question right now.

2 – “If you lived that average day, every day, for the next 5 years, what is the logical outcome?”

This is another deep question because the truth is: your actions today are creating your future.

So, if you kept living your average day over and over, where is your life likely to end up?

Now compare that logical conclusion with the life you’d like to have. How close are they? Is there a discrepancy there?

  • Are you likely to end up where you want to be financially? Are you currently taking consistent action to have the financial life you desire?

  • Are you likely to have the body that you want? Are you eating nutritiously and exercising regularly? Or are you waiting to start tomorrow, or Monday, or the first of the month, or the first of the year? Getting the body you want will take a certain number of days, so you might as well start today.

  • Are you likely to be enjoying the type of relationships you desire? If you want to meet your dream partner, how many new people have you spoken to in the last week? How many have you asked out?

  • Are you likely to be advancing in the career you seek? For example, based on your performance over the last year, do you think it’s probable that you’ll get that position you desire anytime soon? Are you any closer to having that small business running profitably?

  • All in all, are you likely to get to where you want to go in life from the actions you are taking right now? Do actions X, Y and Z naturally take you to that dream life?

Once you have asked yourself these questions, now you can make some reasonable plans and create some good habits.

So, what do you need to do on a consistent basis to achieve the life you hope for?

If you want to lose 10 inches off your waist and weigh 75 pounds less, then your daily actions need to reflect that.

ARE YOUR CURRENT ACTIONS GETTING YOU TO THAT GOAL or are you just expecting that your dream will fall into your lap?

Sadly, that will never happen.

You need to work for the goals you want to achieve in life!

FYI there are two main reasons why people largely fail to end up where they wish to be. Here they are now:

1 – They have no idea where they’re going.

Imagine going on a road-trip without a map.

That would be crazy, right?

It wouldn’t be a shocking surprise if you ended up in the wrong place or somewhere that you had no desire to be.

The truth is you can’t get to your goal if you don’t know the destination.

If you don’t have a plan, you end up living by default, sitting around until something goes wrong and then spending your energy fixing the issue.

Or often you just go where the waves and current takes you and you don’t even try to swim to a different location.

Alternatively, if you spend your energy driving towards something, towards a clearly defined goal, you’ll eventually get there.

2 – They don’t do the things each day that will create the life they want.

In spite of what many gurus seem to claim, you can’t wish your way to success.

Success is the result of making positive decisions and taking actions that reflect those decisions.

Let me repeat that last bit for you – by taking action that reflects those decisions.

So, stop and ask yourself those two questions above right now.

You might be shocked when you really look at your average day and realize where you’re likely to end up as a result of doing those same things every day.

It doesn’t take a lot to be very successful, but it does take consistency and a clear focus.

For instance, imagine if you wrote 100 words every day this week and added another 100 a week.

In 5 years, you would be doing 2500 words a day and you would never struggle for a minute. I’m proof of that working (I now can easily write 5,000 words a day if I really want to and set that goal).

In the same way, establishing daily habits that move you forward toward achieving your goals will result in your success.

So which habit will you start today? Identify it and start implementing it today.

Until next time, dream big my friend  xx
