Money Saving Tips – 6 Genius Ways To Be A More Savvy Saver
Want the best money saving tips? Here are 6 genius ways to be a more savvy saver – the easiest way to save money around!
Hey my friend,
Let’s talk about how we can become more savvy savers and take care of our precious money more wisely?
Now during these difficult economic times, you may be wondering how you can save any money when you’re barely coming up with enough money to pay the bills.
If that’s the case for you it’s important to be open to all kinds of ideas when it comes to saving money.
Honestly, the more willing you are to do things to save money, the more opportunities you will find to actually SAVE and as a result your confidence will soar.

Consider these ideas to help you set aside funds for savings and investments:
MONEY SAVING TIPS
1 – When it comes to saving, attitude is everything.
This is 100% true.
You need to decide in advance that you have the potential to be a great saver.
This is a decision you just decide to make because what you think and feel about saving matters.
- If you feel incredibly overwhelmed or pressured about saving, chances are that you’ll avoid doing it. You will think it is too hard or just a waste of time.
- However, if you embrace the concept of saving and get behind the idea that you’re paying yourself for the future when you save, you’ll be quite excited about saving every payday and demonstrating some real saving savvy. It really is a gift to be able to take care of the money you have coming in well.
- Avoid telling yourself that you “can’t save because there’s just no money left after paying the bills.” Ah that is such a terrible limiting belief!
- Decide instead to tell yourself you will save something every week. You absolutely can and will.
- In general, it’s best to focus on positives and an “I can do it” attitude for saving money. Ditch all the excuses and decide you can make it happen.
MONEY SAVING TIPS
2 – Make a conscious decision to save money.
Write this down and put it on a sticky note on your bathroom mirror: “I will save some money today.”
Then do it.
Whatever you focus on will GROW.
- The best place to start is to put some money aside EVERY SINGLE DAY for your savings, no matter how small the amount may be.
- Maybe you’ll decide to save your change or maybe you’ll skip a cup of coffee or soda, but decide in advance that you will set something aside.
- Deposit your daily savings into an account each week. No matter how big or small these savings are, this amount will eventually add up.

MONEY SAVING TIPS
3 – If you must, start small. Even saving $5 or $10 per week is something.
My secret to getting to any significant goal is to take baby steps.
Even the tiniest little step signifies a commitment on your part to save.
- It shows that you believe saving is important and that you can, in fact, succeed at it.
- So, starting small to work toward a larger goal shows you already have some saving savvy. You do have it inside of you, as long as you are willing to acknowledge this part of yourself.
MONEY SAVING TIPS
4 – Set a minimum weekly savings goal and promise yourself to exceed it.
If you’re starting small, make an effort to exceed your minimum amount.
- So, if you establish a weekly minimum savings goal of $10, anything over that amount is a bonus.
- Keep reading below on to see how you can find these bonus money deposits.

MONEY SAVING TIPS
5 – Use coupons every single week at the grocery store.
You can find coupons in newspapers, grocery store flyers, and all over the internet.
- Your grocery receipt lists at the bottom how much you saved with coupons.
- Once you know how much you saved you can take that amount of cash out of your purse and place it in an envelope for the bank.
- Whether it’s fifty cents or $5, it’s still money you saved my friend.
- Place your grocery savings into the bank where it will do some real good and stay safe (you can’t spend it if it isn’t in your wallet!) That is how you start to build some saving savvy.

MONEY SAVING TIPS
6 – Learn from others who demonstrate saving savvy.
Do you know any friends who are great with money EVEN IF THEY DON’T EARN A SUPER HIGH INCOME?
Seek them out!
You can interview these friends or family members and ask them to show you they know how to manage money.
Do you have a sister who’s an avid saver?
A friend who always pays cash for his cars?
- Ask to sit down with them and gather some of their saving savvy tips.
- When did they start saving?
- Where did they learn about saving money?
- What tips for “beginners” do your saving savvy friends have to share with you?
- Keep your mind open and pen in hand. Write down their tips. Pay attention and don’t discount even their ideas that might sound silly to you right now. If something worked for them, there’s no reason why it might not work for you!
- Then, decide which tips will work for you and apply them in your life.
All in all, when it comes to saving money, it is absolutely important that you keep a positive attitude and make a personal commitment to save.
Start by setting a realistic weekly minimum savings goal and learn from the savvy savers you know.
It really is all about taking baby steps and practicing savvy saving consistently each day – this will lead you to a brighter future.
