Here are some of the parent struggles and hardest parts of parenting that many parents can relate to:
PARENT STRUGGLES
1 – Sleep deprivation:
From newborns who wake up throughout the night to older children who struggle with sleep issues, getting enough rest can be a constant battle for parents. Especially in the early years, parents often face disrupted sleep patterns due to a newborn’s needs or a child’s sleep challenges. THIS PARENT STRUGGLE IS NORMAL.

Juggling the demands of a career while also being present for your children can be incredibly challenging. Finding the right work-life balance is an ongoing struggle for many parents. THIS PARENT STRUGGLE IS NORMAL.

Knowing how to discipline your child effectively while still maintaining a loving and nurturing environment is also no easy task. THIS PARENT STRUGGLE IS NORMAL.

4 – Dealing with tantrums and meltdowns:
Every child goes through phases where they express their frustrations through tantrums or meltdowns. Managing these emotional outbursts in public or at home can be both emotionally draining and embarrassing for the parent. They find themselves asking: “what in the world can I do to stop these tantrums from taking place?” Rest assured this phase does indeed pass. THIS PARENT STRUGGLE IS NORMAL.

Adolescence can also bring about significant changes in behavior, emotions, and independence, requiring parents to navigate new and often challenging waters. Like my parents used to tell me all the time: little children, little problems. Big children, bigger potential problems.

Watching your child become more independent as they grow older is bittersweet for many parents. Letting go of control while still providing guidance can be emotionally challenging.
