Before we had our son, I was trying to decide on what kind of rocker/bassinet to get for our room until we were ready to put him in his room. I stumbled across this transitional rockerand, I’m so glad I did! We were able to use this up to 6 months for him to sleep in (he went in the crib at 4 months, but we went on a few trips, and there were a couple of nights he didn’t feel well.)
Until he could crawl, it was a great seat to put him in if I was doing some chores in the same room; I just buckled the strap behind the headrest to an upright position. Now he’s all over the place but likes to crawl in his chair, and I like that I can adjust it to a non-rocker so he doesn’t get hurt. I like the versatility of this seat because he can continue using it for so long. He was out of my parents rock n play at 4 months. One last note, it is very easy to wash. It just takes a couple of seconds to disassemble the cloth part, throw it in the wash, and hang to dry. If this thing happens to fall apart before we have more children, I would purchase another.
